The point of investing in these entertainment centers is to increase tax revenue by increasing business revenue. With the Tanger Center this has occurred based on early figures released by the City last year. So, on top of increased sales revenue (and therefore taxes), they now want to also increase the rate?! Guess the blood they sucked from the increased property tax just fed the addiction.
